Do I Need a Visa?
If you are travelling with a Kosovo passport, you do not need a visa to visit the Czech Republic for a short stay. The Czech Republic is part of the Schengen Area, so if you are already travelling within Schengen, you also do not need a separate visa. As visa requirements can vary depending on your nationality, it is always best to check the requirements before travelling.
How to Reach the Country?
There are currently no direct flights from Kosovo to the Czech Republic, so one option is to fly from nearby airports such as Tirana or Skopje, or combine your trip with a visit to another European city. Another convenient option is travelling by bus or train from cities such as Vienna, Budapest, or Berlin. These routes are well connected to Prague, with some journeys taking around 4 hours, making Prague an easy addition to a wider Central European trip.
Money & Prices
The Czech Republic uses the Czech koruna (CZK), although cards are widely accepted. Prague is relatively affordable compared to many European capitals, but prices are higher in the main tourist areas. Expect to spend around €40–60 per day, excluding accommodation.
